Raj Kumar Sewak

Managing Director

Raj did his Chemical Engineering from NIT Rourkela. In his initial years, he worked in a glass manufacturing plant as a Process Improver and later worked in various countries, specializing in training and coaching of various aspects of glass manufacturing. After moving to Canada, he worked with Windows and Glass companies and has also worked for the City of Calgary for several years as a Transit Driver.

Raj is the one who brought UCMAS to the Western Part of Canada and started the 1st UCMAS franchise here in Calgary in 2009. He believes that every child has the potential to do well in life provided they are given the right platform and guidance from their parents and teachers. He also has the Master Franchise of UCMAS in Alberta- Under his leadership, UCMAS has grown to 14 locations in Alberta. His passion in life is to spread the knowledge of books to as many people as possible in his circle of influence, and to promote healthy living.

Anjula Sewak

Director

Anjula has been involved with children's education in early childhood for the last 25 years. She holds a Bachelor of Education and has worked with Day Care Centers, Preschools and, is one of the senior-most teachers in UCMAS North East location. She connects with young students very well and loves the company of kids. She has been running her own Preschool for the last 6 years along with teaching at UCMAS.k

Vishal Sewak

iLEAP Coordinator / Course Instructor

Vishal is a recent graduate in Business Technology Management from the University of Calgary and has been a part of the UCMAS program from the beginning. He used to be a student, then volunteered and eventually made his way up to becoming a teacher. He understands the students, and always leaves a long-lasting impression on them. Vishal is also the coordinator of iLEAP Club in Alberta.

Manjula Chopra

Course Instructor

Manjula is a dentist by profession and worked at hospitals in India, also, she had her own clinic. She moved to Canada in 2016, and ever since then, she has been a UCMAS teacher. She is a highly motivated individual who strives to improve the lives of every child she teaches. She is best known for her patience, this is why she works primarily with young children.

Vanshika Sharma

Course Instructor

Vanshika Sharma is an international student from India, she moved to Canada in 2019. She has recently graduated from Justice Studies at Bow Valley College. She is an enthusiastic, ambitious, determined, and result-oriented person.

Lindsey Olmsted

Course Instructor

Lindsey has a bachelor's degree in English Literature, she has taught students from young elementary to high school. Lindsey conducts engaging lessons with students on the fundamentals of English grammar and how to write effectively. Lindsey's goal is to raise literacy in her students and help her students build real-life connections with concepts. She is passionate about building self-confidence in each student
